The Cravy Family

The Cravy family have had a great time this holiday season, full of blessings for sure. Andi’s brother, Vince and his wife Danielle and two boys, Braedyn and Kaleb, got to come in from Virginia to make the Pompa clan complete. Andi and Danielle are really close and it was great to see them enjoy each other’s company. Natty and Braedyn became best buds and it was good for them to get to be with another kid of the same age. Braedyn even went to pre-school with Natty one day and had all sorts of fun times.

We spent part of Christmas day with my parents and Granny, eating a great meal provided by Furr’s and opening gifts. Natty got some things that she really wanted, including a teepee made by MawMaw and a talking parrot. It repeats what it hears and thankfully, will be residing at the MawMaw and PawPaw’s house.

We were able to close out Christmas day with a family reunion of the Pompa family that was a lot of fun. They had a dance which lasted about four hours and Natty was a real dancing queen. We love our daughter to death because she is such an individual kind of girl. She doesn’t play or act like everyone else and she really doesn’t dance like anyone else. She was out there running and leaping like it was a performance of Swan Lake and it was quite a joy to behold. I got a chance to dance with her to some good tunes and I even learned to two-step with Andi. My whiteness limits my ability on the Electric Slide however so I left that for those with latin heritage.
