The Cravy Family

Our son, Micah, continues to amaze us with his strength and his capacity for sharing his joy. Yesterday, November 9th, Micah had his third surgical procedure of his short life. He had developed a second perianal abscess on the right cheek of his bottom. He had surgery on his first one about six weeks ago and spent two night in the hospital. These abscesses cause a lot of pain for him when he goes poop (which is often) and can get easily infected.

Thankfully, the second procedure was done outpatient and he got ot go home a few hours afterwards. He is doing great so far, taking nap as a type this and he doesn’t seem to be hurting all that much right now. He continues to smile and giggle through all this and he makes all of us happy just to be around him. He is my hero and God has truly blessed our lives with his wonderful boy.

We just found out today that Ben and Bess (Aaron’s brother and his wife) are expecting again, and this time, there are a pair of buns in the oven. This is very exciting for all of us, but most of all for them I’m sure. What a wonderful and terrifying thing to experience. I would need the entire 40 weeks just to wrap my head around the idea of having 2 at one time. Please join us as we pray for them as they prepare for these TWO new additions to the Cravy family!
