The Cravy Family

The other day, we had elephants in this here town!!! As you may know, Lubbock doesn’t often get such things as elephants as we don’t have a zoo or anything. The Science Spectrum was able to have two elephants come in and a lot of local kids got the opportunity to see them up close and personal. They were able to feed them and even ride them. Natty, Andi, Emmy and Grandmommy got to go and here are some pictures of them enjoying the experience. Andi wanted to ride the “Lumpy”but is a little too far along the pregnancy trail (7 months) so Grandmommy valiantly took the girls.

This is a picture of my sweet angel wearing her “Daddy” shirt as she likes to call it. I never imagined I would so gleefully do such silly things as wear matching shirts with my daughter, but this is photographic evidence that I do.

I know it has been quite awhile since I have updated anything on this site but I’m resolving to change that. I’ve been reading some friends blogs and have been inspired to be more active with the site.

For those who may not know yet, Andi and I are expecting our second child. Our doctor informs us that it is a boy and we are pretty excited. That will give us one of each and what parent doesn’t want that? The baby is due on June 1st which is really close to my sister, Amber’s, due date. SHe is having a boy as well so Andi and Amber have been communicating a bunch about their shared experiences.

Natty continues to make us proud, happy and occasionally frustrated. She is a very good girl most of the time and is amped about becoming a big sister. I know that she will be a lot of help with her baby brother. Well, that’s it for now, until next time.
